During the estimation process, we almost always estimate WITHOUT foam. We do this, because in most cases, tired foam can be brought back to life with some steam! If you would like foam (or cotton) replaced, let us know and we’d be happy to estimate that for you!

After my dog decided to see what’s inside a car... seat I was searching for a place that could repair or replace it. I got an estimate from a dealer to replace it. Another repair shop recommended Wichtermans. I sent photos of the damage. Grant responded right away and said they could reupholster the seat. Since I am 180 miles away from his shop I really appreciated his timeliness and good communication. He sent me a fabric sample so I wouldn’t waste a trip if it didn’t match, and got me an appointment at my convenience to have the repair done. In short he did a great job on the repair and at about 25% of the price the dealer quoted. I don’t know how they could have been any better. I would recommend them for anyone needing this type of service.read more

I had a very positive experience at Wichterman's.... I had a tear in the vinyl leatherette on the driver's side seat of my car. I was referred to Wichterman's my one of the mobile repair companies in town. This particular repair company was particularly honest - they told me that I could use their service and they would attempt to repair the rip. However, they leveled with me that the best option would be to contact Wichterman's. They said that Wichterman's keeps a wide variety of products in stock, and can quickly recover the area in question.I dropped my car off in Chanhassen on a Tuesday night. I had an email at 2 pm the next day saying the repairs are all done. And they did a REALLY nice job. The seat looks completely new. And the best part is the cost was exceptionally reasonable. Honestly, it wasn't much more than the quotes I received for a mobile team to come out and try to fix it with a heat gun and reseal it (which would have shown a repair had been done). And with Wichterman's, my vinyl seat is totally new! Honestly, I'm really pleased with the work and the speed. And I'm grateful to the mobile leather repair company that referred me to them.I would recommend their work.read more
